Our kitchen is currently closed and expected to be fully functional for lunch & dinner from June 2026.

The Carpenters Tavern has undergone a complete refurbishment and we are now at the final stages. We cannot wait to welcome you all to enjoy the new look restaurant, garden and bar.

We will be serving food sourced from trusted local producers. Served alongside carefully selected beverages bringing the best of the region to your table.

Terms & Conditions 
Thank you for your reservation at The Carpenters Tavern. We are an independent restaurant and rely on reservations being honoured. We kindly ask that should you need to make any amendments to your reservation you do so as soon as possible.  You can contact our reservations team on 01174 622970 and they will be happy to help.
Please do make us aware of any special requirements you may have along with any allergies or dietary requirements in your party and we will be happy to accommodate.
 
For reservations of 6 or more diners or if we hold any events, we require card details to secure your booking. These details are securely kept with a third party called Stripe and will only be charged if the cancellation terms are not met. Your booking will automatically incur a fee of £10 per person if we do not receive 24 hours notice of any cancellation or amendments and a £20 fee per person if you don’t show up on the night.  We politely ask you to contact us if you are running late as we can hold tables for 10 minutes and will release it if we have not been contacted. By making a reservation at The Carpenters Tavern you agree to our reservation cancellation terms.
